F702

The Fyne Audio F702 is a midsized floorstanding loudspeaker that combines a 200mm IsoFlare point source driver with a 200mm multi-fibre bass driver in a twin cavity tuned cabinet. Its down-firing port incorporates a BassTrax LF diffuser, while the design draws on Fyne Audio’s loudspeaker technologies and expertise. The F702 is intended for mid to large sized rooms and is capable of articulate, powerful performance, real world volumes and dynamic reproduction.

ISOFLARE™

The IsoFlare™ driver places the bass and midrange driver on a common centre with the high frequency unit, forming a point source system. Energy is radiated isotropically with constant directivity, following the flare of the driver cone. This allows sound to be produced as if it were emanating from a single point in space, with stereo imaging maintained even off axis.

BASSTRAX™ TRACTRIX DIFFUSER SYSTEM

The BassTrax™ Tractrix profile maintains a 90 degree angle at each intersection of the expanding wavefront, helping to avoid reflections. The arrangement also makes the Fyne Audio F702 less critical of room positioning.

FYNEFLUTE™ SURROUND TECHNOLOGY

Fyne Audio has developed a method intended to reduce the detrimental effect that standard roll rubber surrounds have on driver performance.
