M6si

The Musical Fidelity M6si is an integrated amplifier with 220 watts per channel, a separate preamplifier and 2 independent monobloc power amplifiers housed in the same case. Its combination of high power, high current capability and unconditional stability allows it to drive any loudspeaker.

The M6si is designed for high performance with very low distortion, a high signal-to-noise ratio and an extremely flat frequency response. Its inputs include MM/MC phono, 4 line-level connections, 1 balanced XLR and 1 asynchronous USB-B input supporting up to 24-bit 96kHz. A preamplifier output is also provided.

Musical Fidelity has configured the M6si internally as a separate preamplifier and 2 independent monobloc power amplifiers, effectively placing a separates system in a single case. In blind listening comparisons, it has performed well against amplifiers costing considerably more, with little practical difference reported between them. The amplifier is intended to provide sufficient performance, facilities and power for listeners who are not seeking the most exotic high-end sound quality.
