The Bel Canto REF501S provides an entry point to Bel Canto’s standalone power amplifiers. It offers sufficient power for a wide range of speakers and improves on the former REF500S through Bel Canto’s custom NCore implementation, which delivers a significant upgrade in power quality. It is suited to the Bel Canto Pre5 preamplifier and can also be driven directly by the Bel Canto DAC2.8 DAC control preamp.
Its presentation has the characteristic Bel Canto balance, detail and musicality, supported by a smooth delivery.
