Black EX AMP

The Black EX Dual Mono Amplifier uses a custom-plated, high-grade aluminium chassis with independent power supplies and amplifiers unique to Black EX, providing true dual-mono operation. It is rated at 350W/700W per channel, delivering high-power accuracy and musicality to your loudspeakers. Its efficient design remains ready for high-performance operation and is intended to drive any loudspeaker with ultra-low-noise, high-power amplification. Internal gain switches allow the EX Amplifier to be further optimised for your system.

Class D operation reduces thermal modulation, making the EX Amplifier resistant to output-stage bias wander and sonic ghosting. The output power devices operate as efficient switches, so relatively few devices are required to deliver substantial audio power. Ultra-short signal paths and the minimum number of output devices allow the EX Amplifier to deliver over 700 watts of audio power without loss of dynamics, while remaining faithful to the audio source.

High Dynamic Range, Low Noise and Distortion: The single-stage architecture of the linear switching power stage provides low noise across the audio band. With over 130dB of potential dynamic range and very low IMD and THD, the design delivers transparent, hear-through performance.
