The E1X combines a discrete SSHC (Single Stage High Current) input amplifier and output stage with a switch-mode power supply, producing 250W into 8 ohms and 500W into 4 ohms per channel. Its high-efficiency design incorporates bespoke technologies and remains ready for high-performance operation. The E1X is designed to drive any loudspeaker with ultra-low noise and high-power amplification, preserving the full musical detail from your source to your loudspeaker.
Class D efficiency eliminates thermal modulation, making the E1X resistant to output-stage bias wander and sonic ghosting. Its output power devices operate as efficient switches, so relatively few devices are required to deliver substantial audio power. The amplifier uses ultra-short signal paths and the minimum number of output devices needed to deliver over 500W of audio power without loss of dynamics, remaining true to the audio source.
