The McIntosh XR50 is a compact 3-way bookshelf speaker for music and home theatre systems, engineered to produce a rich, full sound from its compact enclosure. Suitable amplifier power is between 75 and 300 watts.
The XR50 is available with gloss wood finishes in Black, Red Walnut and Pear Maple. Its magnetically attached grille is acoustically transparent and covered in neutral black cloth. The front panel carries a unique McIntosh logo, which may be illuminated when the speaker is used with McIntosh components.
An additional connection passes Meter Illumination Control to compatible McIntosh power amplifiers. Use speaker cables of adequate size when connecting the XR50 to an amplifier, to avoid signal loss.
