WS300

The WS300 In-Wall Loudspeaker is a flexible speaker that can be adapted to many custom install uses in 2-channel home audio and home theatre installations. For stereo listening, or distributed audio when combined with our MI128 or MI254 distribution amplifiers, a pair of WS300s can provide room filling sound.

For multi-channel home theatre, it’s voice matched to our WS500 in-wall speaker and makes a perfect centre channel speaker to use when WS500s are used for the front left and right speaker; or an entire home theatre can be equipped with WS300s for the front, centre and surround sound speakers. Either way, simply add one or more of our CS200 in-ceiling speaker, which is also voice matched to the WS300 and WS500, to complete the at home movie experience.

The 3-way WS300 is fully enclosed to deliver incredible performance in any environment plus a controlled air chamber minimizes distortion and response irregularities. It features one 8" woofer, two 2" inverted Titanium dome midranges and one 3/4" Titanium dome tweeter. The woofer uses a new shallow design that fits in standard 2x4 wall construction to help make installation easy. The woofer utilizes a long throw, high power design with a moulded carbon reinforced cone with a moulded elastomeric surround for high linearity. The midranges and tweeters are the same drivers used in our XR50 and XR100 home audio speakers and deliver the same level of performance.

The grille magnetically attaches for easy removal; it is also paintable and will leave little to no visible edge of the mounting flange so the speaker can virtually disappear into its surroundings. It comes with all required hardware and mounting mechanisms for post construction installations. An optional rough-in kit (#RK300) is available if needed.ws3
