Carbon-Based 7-Layer Noise-Dissipation System with 3x EMI Absorption

Full shielding can prevent radio-frequency interference (RFI) from entering a system, but protecting the ground reference requires a more developed approach. AudioQuest's 7-layer Noise-Dissipation System combines several metal shielding layers with carbon-loaded synthetic materials to absorb and block unwanted electromagnetic interference. With 3x greater EMI absorption, the system reduces noise before it reaches the equipment's ground plane, supporting accurate signal transmission.

Hard-Cell Foam Insulation

Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) insulation maintains precise conductor spacing for consistent electrical performance. Unlike conventional insulation, which can absorb energy and release it into the signal path, nitrogen-injected HCF creates air pockets that minimise energy storage. Nitrogen absorbs virtually no energy, helping to reduce signal distortion. The rigid material also maintains the conductors' stable relationship throughout the cable, preserving consistent impedance and signal accuracy.

Direct-Silver Plated Terminations

Precision-engineered connectors with direct-silver plating provide a conductive, low-resistance interface between the cable and component. With no intermediate metal layers, the construction preserves signal purity, while the silver-plated contact surfaces support long-term connectivity.
