Viva Center Colour Utopia

The Focal Viva Center Colour Utopia is a 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker for multi-channel systems, designed for vertical or horizontal installation. It measures 1.30 m in height when installed vertically. In horizontal orientation, the black lacquered loudspeaker is mounted on an aluminium stand designed for this configuration.

As part of the Utopia III Evo range, Viva Utopia Colour Evo combines high efficiency and power handling with very low horizontal directivity. This supports controlled phase response and 3D imaging, while its design provides clarity through the midrange. The loudspeaker is intended for music listeners seeking high-quality reproduction across the audio spectrum, from low-frequency bass to the very high end.

Focal introduced the Utopia range in 1995 as a platform for its loudspeaker development. Technologies associated with the range include the ‘W’ cone, Focus Time, Beryllium, Power Flower, OPC and Gamma Structure. Utopia III Evo also incorporates the Electro-Magnet woofer, while continuing to use the ‘W’ composite sandwich cone and pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter.

The Grande Utopia EM Evo and Stella EM Evo use the Electro-Magnet woofer, which was developed to deliver greater power than classic woofer technologies. Across the Utopia III Evo range, Focal has combined these developments to produce loudspeakers covering the full audio spectrum with dynamic reproduction.
