V5 Titan

The IsoTek V5 Titan is a high-current mains power conditioner for audio and AV systems. It has 3 independent 16 A outlets for power amplifiers, subwoofers and active loudspeakers, together with a new System Link output for connecting multiple IsoTek devices to a single wall socket through a star-earth reference.

The Titan Direct Coupled© circuit has been revised with over 50% more PCB copper loading, reducing resistance and improving current delivery towards the zero-ohms ideal. Inductance has doubled, while current handling has increased by 80%. Direct Current Resistance has also been improved throughout the design. Within the limits of the energy supply and regulatory requirements, the V5 Titan is designed to provide unrestricted current delivery.

Power cleaning circuits remove common-mode and differential-mode mains noise, with RFI reduction of 85 dB at 50 ohms, down to 5 Hz. The fully star-earthed network uses solid-core Ohno Continuous Cast copper, silver-plated internal wiring and an FEP virtual air dielectric.

Protection is provided by a sequential circuit offering 153,000 A of instantaneous protection and 75,000 A of continuous protection. The 16 A RCBO circuit-breaking system is retained, with a contact area at least 1,000 times greater than that of a standard fuse. The feature set includes 153,500 A instantaneous protection and 75,000 continuous protection.

The rear System Link outlet extends the number of available outlets while maintaining a star-earth reference to a single wall socket. The IsoTek V5 Titan is supplied with an IsoTek EVO3 Premier power cable, and UK, EU, US, AU and CH outlet versions are available.

The preceding IsoTek EVO3 Titan was presented at the Munich HIGH END Show in May 2014 and officially released towards the end of 2014. Its high-current power design was used as a reference for comparison with other products, and it was adopted internationally for use with large power amplifiers.
