The Jorma Design Unity is a 1m pair of speaker cables, introduced as the replacement for the No. 1 cables after nearly 8 years of production. The Unity design is entirely different from the No. 1, while the price is approximately the same.
The Unity speaker cables were presented at CES 2011 in Las Vegas using final prototypes. Production versions were scheduled to be heard for the first time at High End 2011 in Munich in May.
Their technology is drawn from the Prime and Origo series, as well as the No. 1 and No. 2 series. In appearance and sound, Jorma Design Unity is closer to Origo and Prime than to No. 1 and No. 2. It is the third Jorma Design series to use wooden parts, with maple used here and copper labels.
