The Jorma Design Unity Power Cable is a 1.5m mains cable that replaces the No. 1 cable after nearly 8 years of production. Its design is totally different from the No. 1, while its price is approximately the same.
Unity technology is drawn from the Prime and Origo series, as well as the No. 1 and No. 2 series. Its appearance and sound are closer to Origo and Prime than to No. 1 and No. 2. The Unity range is the third Jorma Design series to use wooden parts, following Origo and Prime. For Unity, these parts are made from maple and paired with copper labels.
The Unity cables were first shown at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, using final prototypes. The first exhibition at which production versions could be heard was High End 2011 in Munich in May.
