Uniti Nova

The Naim Uniti Nova is a single-box, compact all-in-one music player with 80 watts per channel of Class A/B amplification. Its enclosure uses the available space for a power amplifier capable of driving demanding loudspeakers, with detail and depth across every note, riff and chorus.

The Uniti Nova incorporates discrete components, a toroidal transformer, isolation, Naim’s signature volume control and a wide selection of inputs. Its amplifier technology is derived from the Naim NAIT integrated amplifier, with power amplifier sections that operate at twice the speed of the previous design. Linear power supplies and substantial transformers support the amplifier, while through-hole film capacitors and discrete transistors are used in the filter sections.

Digital processing is handled by a fourth-generation 40 bit SHARC DSP processor. It removes jitter, or timing errors, and uses Naim’s RAM buffer, first developed for the Naim DAC and NDS, to oversample the audio 16 times. The processed signal is then sent to premium Burr Brown DACs for a smoother and more precise sonic performance.

Uniti Nova also uses premium Burr Brown DACs to support Naim’s approach to pace, rhythm and timing. The result is a compact network player and integrated amplifier combining digital processing, multiple inputs and 80 watts per channel of Class A/B power in one enclosure.
