The Marantz TT-15S1 is a Premium Range turntable with a solid acrylic resin chassis and a 3 cm-thick heavy acrylic platter, supplied with a black felt cover. Solid aluminium feet and ceramic bearings are used to minimise chassis resonance. The motor is dampened and isolated from the chassis to prevent vibration from affecting playback.
The Marantz exclusive MM system has a stylish ebony body and is fixed directly to the high-grade audio interconnector, reducing signal resistance to a minimum. Its anodised tonearm has been optimised for use with the turntable. A clamp system maintains close contact between the record and platter, while the contact-free magnetic anti-skating system avoids unwanted stylus stresses. The continuous silicon belt supports rotational accuracy, making the Marantz TT-15S1 suitable for an audiophile home audio system.
