Sub 1000F

The Focal Sub 1000F is a sealed subwoofer designed for Home Cinema systems. It combines a 30cm bass driver with an integrated 1,000 Watts BASH® amplifier, allowing the woofer to operate at its full potential.

Its Flax membrane uses an environmentally friendly textile that is light, stiff and well damped. These properties support a well-defined, distortion-free sound, with greater neutrality of timbre and improved sound definition. The Dual Magnet dual driver provides high power while maintaining linearity.

The sealed cabinet delivers extended bass response in a compact enclosure and avoids interference. This makes the Sub 1000F suitable for reproducing film soundtracks and for use with Focal Aria 900 speakers.

The cone membrane is evolved from the Flax cones developed for the Aria 900 speaker range. It uses a more rigid construction, formed from 2 sheets of 160 g/m2 fibre glass around a 250 g/m2 flax core. This construction is designed to withstand the demands placed on a subwoofer.
