Focal’s engineers have worked on acoustic solutions for 40 years, and the Stellia incorporates the company’s speaker-driver technology in a closed-back design. Its full-range driver uses an ‘M’-shaped pure beryllium dome, a new surround and a frameless 100% copper voice coil. The combination is designed to reproduce fine detail, preserve the dynamics of the original audio signal and present voices with realism.
The frameless voice coil and the properties of beryllium create a light moving part, supporting balanced tonal reproduction across the frequency range. Stellia combines these acoustic features with full-grain leather and a closed-back circum-aural format, providing a high-fidelity headphone for detailed listening at home or elsewhere.
