SS-5

The Solidsteel SS-5 speaker stands are designed to provide a stable, resonance-controlled foundation for high-quality bookshelf and standmount loudspeakers. Handcrafted in Italy, they combine Solidsteel's distinctive three-leg construction with carefully selected materials to create a rigid and mechanically stable support.

Each SS-5 uses a hand-welded steel frame with three vertical supports, providing excellent structural rigidity while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. The 190 x 190mm MDF top plate is mechanically isolated from the main frame using precision ball bearings, helping reduce the transfer of unwanted vibration between the loudspeaker and stand.

Adjustable stainless steel spikes allow each stand to be levelled accurately on the listening-room floor, while protective floor discs are supplied for use on more delicate surfaces. Solidsteel's Pata-fix fixing material is also included to help secure the loudspeaker firmly to the top plate.

Standing approximately 525mm high, the SS-5 is particularly well suited to medium-sized standmount loudspeakers, positioning them at an appropriate listening height while providing a solid mechanical reference.
