Speakerflux

The Furutech Speakerflux is a speaker cable designed to connect amplifiers and loudspeakers with low resistive loss. It uses (Alpha) OCC Pure Transmission conductors and is supplied as standard with Furutech CF-201R rhodium-plated pure copper spades at the amplifier end and CF-202R rhodium-plated banana connectors at the speaker end. Other connector combinations are available on request.

Speaker cables carry high current, so low resistance helps prevent part of the signal energy being converted into heat and maintains the amplifier’s damping factor, reducing uncontrolled driver movement. Speakerflux addresses this with large effective conductor diameter, either through large cable conductors or bundles of smaller conductors.

The CF-201R spades and CF-202R bananas are nonmagnetic and made from pure copper with rhodium plating. Their substantially built, non-resonant bodies use layered carbon fibre and stainless steel. High-grade PE dielectric and insulation reduce capacitance and improve mechanical vibration damping.

Furutech Speakerflux is engineered to provide greater resolution, clarity and dynamic power, together with a quiet soundstage in which music develops without artificial upper-frequency presence-region glare. Furutech attributes its smooth, natural and musical presentation to the engineering of the cable, along with the selection and auditioning of suitable materials.
