The Monitor Audio Silver 300 8G is a sophisticated three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to deliver impressive scale, dynamics and clarity from an elegant and relatively compact cabinet.
Its three-way configuration features twin 6-inch C-CAM bass drivers using Monitor Audio’s latest Rigid Surface Technology III (RST III). The advanced cone geometry increases rigidity and helps control unwanted resonances, allowing the Silver 300 8G to produce deep, fast and well-controlled bass with excellent definition.
A dedicated 3-inch C-CAM RST III midrange driver handles the critical vocal and instrumental frequencies, allowing the bass drivers to concentrate entirely on low-frequency reproduction. This helps create an open, natural and highly detailed midrange with excellent separation and clarity.
High frequencies are handled by Monitor Audio’s redesigned 25mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. Featuring an extensively revised motor system, the latest tweeter delivers a smooth, refined and articulate treble response with high sensitivity and low distortion.
Silver Series 8G also introduces Monitor Audio’s Silent Flow Port Technology. Designed to carefully manage airflow and reduce turbulence within the bass reflex system, it contributes to cleaner and deeper low-frequency reproduction. The Silver 300 8G reaches down to a claimed 30Hz in-room, giving it impressive bass extension without requiring an excessively large cabinet.
A refined crossover network and through-bolt driver fixing further contribute to the speaker’s clean, controlled presentation, while redesigned stabilisers provide a secure foundation.
Available in High Gloss Black, Satin White and European Walnut, the Silver 300 8G combines understated contemporary styling with serious high-fidelity performance.
