The Signature Super ARAY streaming cable is developed directly from the Epic Streaming cable. It uses the same high-precision RJ45 connector, with gold-plated contacts and soldered conductors, together with unique hard-skin insulation. The heavier-gauge silver-plated conductors, altered conductor spacing and more effective shielding system distinguish its performance. The cable also replaces Tuned conductor geometry with Super ARAY geometry, developed specifically for streaming cables.
Streaming audio can involve long cable runs and multiple connections. Re-siting NAS drives is not always possible, and Ethernet signals may sometimes be transmitted over mains cables.
The development of Tuned and Super ARAY conductor geometries was driven by the aim of minimising high-frequency noise. Long runs of unshielded Ethernet cable, or Ethernet over mains, can allow high-frequency interference to affect not only the streamer but the whole audio system. Connecting a Signature Super ARAY streaming cable to the streamer can improve clarity, definition and detail, while also increasing coherence.
