Digital cables are not all the same, and the differences can be heard with relatively little listening. Detail is useful, but hearing what the bass and drums are doing is less meaningful if they are not working together. The Shawline Digital is designed to combine detail with coherence.

The Shawline Digital uses an ARAY conductor configuration, which distinguishes it from most other digital cables. As with the other digital cables in the range, it uses identical conductors for the signal and return, together with an ARAY conductor. The conductors are silver-plated and insulated with PTFE. They are enclosed by a dual-layer, high-density braid and foil shield to minimise high-frequency interference. The design draws on the high-end digital cables developed by Chord, particularly their focus on musical coherence.

The Shawline Digital is available in 0.5m and 1m standard lengths. Custom lengths are available to order. It can be supplied with direct silver-plated Chord VEE 3 RCA plugs or high-quality silver-plated BNC plugs.
