Sarum T extends the Sarum Super ARAY range with Taylon®, Chord Company’s proprietary insulation material. Earlier Sarum Super ARAY cables used a PTFE dielectric. Taylon® provides a range of performance benefits and brings the technology to a more accessible price level.
Earlier Sarum cables can be upgraded to Sarum T specification. Contact your nearest Chord Company Sarum retailer for prices and further information. Demonstration cables are also available for use in your own system.
The Sarum T tone arm cable is hand-built to order and can be fitted with a range of connectors. It is available in a standard 1.2m length or as a custom length, in slim configuration at £2,000.00 or reference configuration at £2,600.00.
The reference version uses a pseudo-balanced design and contains twice the amount of cable. It is more rigid but offers better performance. It will not suit every turntable. With a suspended chassis, such as the Linn LP12, the slimline cable may be more suitable, as the reference version may be too inflexible or heavy for the tone arm.
