The Marantz SACD 10 is a SACD and CD player with a built-in DAC for external digital sources. Its proprietary SACDM-3 disc transport handles SACD and CD playback, while USB-A and USB-B DAC inputs support balanced sources, DSD 256 and PCM 384 / 32.
The digital connectivity includes coaxial and optical inputs and outputs. Fixed-level XLR and RCA analogue outputs are also provided, allowing the SACD 10 to connect to a range of analogue and digital systems.
Updated Marantz Musical Mastering and a next-generation HDAM module are used for detailed audio reproduction. The player retains the Marantz sound signatures of warmth, spaciousness and resolution, with design advances and precise tuning by the Sound Master intended to provide greater detail.
Construction includes a triple-layer aluminium chassis with copper shielding, copper-plated triple-layer construction, a thick-section aluminium structure, isolated sub-enclosures and entirely original multi-layer PCBs. The HDAM module is housed within this design, alongside a brushed aluminium control surface and spun-finish details.
