RS201E

The HiFi Rose RS201E is a network music player with video playback, local storage support and an integrated amplifier. Its aluminium body has a corner detail, volume knob, power button and wide-view touch screen.

The RS201E connects to USB, Micro SD, SSD, PC and NAS storage, supporting current audio and video formats including MPEG, H.264, H.265 and VP9. Audio and video files stored on USB, MSD and SSD devices can be organised into playlists for local playback.

Music

Supported audio formats include MQA, WAV, FLAC, WMA, MP3, APE, DFF and DSF. PCM playback is supported from 8kHz to 384kHz, with 8, 16, 24 or 32bit per sample. Native DSD playback covers DSD64 at 2.8MHz, DSD128 at 5.6MHz and DSD256 at 11.2MHz.

Video

Movies can be played from USB, Micro SD and SSD storage, as well as from NAS devices and network shared drives. Connecting the HiFi Rose RS201E to a television by HDMI allows video playback on the larger display.

Studio Mastering Quality Sound Playback

The reference 32bit high-performance DAC supports PCM32bit/384kHz and Native DSD256 at 32bit/11.2MHz, including high-resolution PCM32bit-384kHz and Native DSD32bit-11.2MHz playback. The high-speed driver variation technique and embedded Pure Path Ultra HD power amplifier are designed for ultra-low distortion and stable sound quality across the full range.

Vacuum amplifier and reference-grade preamplifier technology work together with a 122dB SNR and -132dB THD+N. MQA technology is included for playback of MQA audio files and streams, with the aim of preserving the sound of the original master recording.

Network features include DLNA and AirPlay. The RS201E can also access audio and video files stored on smartphones, tablets, NAS devices and other network sources.
