The KEF Reference 3 Meta is a floorstanding loudspeaker built around KEF’s 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT™. This latest development from KEF is designed to place the listener at the centre of the sound stage across a wide range of listening applications.

The Reference standard
Since 1973, The Reference has been used by KEF to establish a benchmark for loudspeaker and sound reproduction. Digital technologies are applied to achieve high audio accuracy, with every pair matched within 0.5dB to a laboratory-maintained reference standard.

Development through acoustic research
KEF engineers have continued to develop The Reference since the first model was introduced. Each generation has extended the application of acoustic science and the use of digital technologies in loudspeaker design.

Designed, engineered and handcrafted in UK
KEF has been creating loudspeakers at its UK home in Maidstone, Kent, since 1961. The Reference range remains designed, engineered and handcrafted there, including the KEF Reference 3 Meta.
