KEF engineers have continued to develop the possibilities of The Reference since the first Reference speaker, with each subsequent iteration contributing to the understanding of acoustic science.
KEF has created loudspeakers at its UK home in Maidstone, Kent, since 1961. The Reference 3 Meta continues to be designed, engineered and handcrafted there.
