The KEF Reference 2 Meta is a centre speaker for music and home cinema, with the flexibility to be used as a Left-Centre-Right speaker. Its 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array incorporates MAT™, making it suitable for smaller rooms where full-scale, high-performance sound is required.
The Reference standard
Since 1973, The Reference has set a benchmark for loudspeakers and sound reproduction. KEF uses digital technologies to achieve high audio accuracy, with every pair matched within 0.5dB to the laboratory-maintained reference standard.
Continued development
KEF engineers have continued to develop The Reference since the first model, using advances in engineering and acoustical science. Each generation has added to the understanding of loudspeaker design.
Designed, engineered and handcrafted in the UK
KEF has created loudspeakers at its UK home in Maidstone, Kent, since 1961. The Reference range remains designed, engineered and handcrafted there as the company’s flagship HiFi speaker series.
