The KEF R6 Meta is a versatile home theatre centre speaker with the same 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT™ as the R Series stereo models, providing consistent tonal matching across the system. It combines this with 2 powerful 6.5’’ hybrid aluminium bass drivers and can also be used in an LCR (Left-Centre-Right) configuration.
Developed with technologies drawn from The Reference, the KEF R6 Meta is designed to reproduce films with controlled bass and evenly dispersed sound. Metamaterial Absorption Technology absorbs 99% of unwanted sound, while the Uni-Q® array operates as a single point source to enlarge the ‘sweet spot’ and distribute sound more evenly.
The hybrid aluminium bass drivers offer greater driver excursion for tight, deep and controlled low frequencies. Matching home theatre models are available for system integration, and microfibre grilles can remain fitted without compromising performance. Each grille has 1801 precision-cut holes for each driver.
