R2 Meta
The KEF R2 Meta centres on a 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with Metamaterial Absorption Technology, supported by 2 5.25-inch hybrid aluminium bass drivers and a compact enclosure suited to smaller rooms. The single-point-source arrangement enlarges the listening area and disperses sound evenly, while the absorption system removes 99% of unwanted sound for a pure, natural presentation.
The KEF R2 Meta is a compact centre speaker designed to match KEF R Series floorstanding speakers. It uses the 12th-generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT™ and 2 5.25” hybrid aluminium bass drivers, providing high-quality sound with dynamic music and films while remaining suitable for smaller rooms. The design can also be used in an LCR, Left-Centre-Right, configuration.
The R2 Meta incorporates technologies drawn from The Reference range. Metamaterial Absorption Technology absorbs 99% of unwanted sound to support a pure, natural presentation. The 12th-generation Uni-Q® driver array acts as a single point source, enlarging the sweet spot and dispersing sound more evenly. Hybrid aluminium bass drivers with greater excursion provide tight, deep and controlled bass.
Matching home theatre models allow the KEF R2 Meta to form part of an immersive movie system. Microfibre grilles are fitted with 1801 precision-cut holes for each driver, helping to maintain performance when the drivers are covered.
