The Gold Note PSU-10, an external power supply, uses a dual choke design and 4 transformers to support the PH-10 phono stage. Its inductive filtering isolates the analogue stage from electromagnetic interference and AC-system pollution, helping reduce noise while improving dynamics, resolution and fine detail.
The Gold Note PSU-10 is a dedicated external power supply for the PH-10 phono stage, designed to improve the reproduction of music from LPs through the use of audio-grade components.
Its proprietary Dual Chokes Design uses 2 inductors to drive the negative and positive high-current stages, while a separate inductive filter is fitted to the analogue stage. This arrangement filters the signal voltages and reduces electrical pollution from the AC power system.
PSU-10 also shields the PH-10 phono stage from electromagnetic interference and isolates it from the AC power system. The clean power supply is designed to reduce noise while improving dynamics, resolution and fine detail.
The power supply uses 4 transformers. 3 are dedicated exclusively to the power supply, and 1 separate transformer is dedicated to the inductive filter.
