PMC has extensive experience in immersive audio, with its own studios in London, Los Angeles and Nashville, while many of Hollywood’s productions have also been created using PMC loudspeakers. This expertise has given PMC a deep understanding of the demands of a truly immersive multichannel experience, and the prophecy.C has been engineered to deliver precisely that.
Like every model in the prophecy range, the prophecy.C employs a bespoke Advanced Transmission Line bass-loading system. Its more complex configuration enables the centre-channel speaker to perform as an outstanding full-range loudspeaker in its own right.
The innovative design positions the two mid/bass drivers at different points along the long-folded transmission line. This helps minimise coloration in the critical vocal region, ensuring dialogue remains clear, natural and intelligible, while also improving integration with the treble driver. The front-venting LaminairX system further enhances installation flexibility, allowing the prophecy.C to be positioned close to a wall without compromising performance.
