The PMC Prophecy9 is a floorstanding hi-fi loudspeaker designed for music and film systems. Its room-friendly proportions produce a large-scale presentation, with a wide soundstage, strong dynamics and an engaging character.

The precision soft-dome tweeter and 55mm soft-dome mid-range driver are mounted in a carefully profiled baffle incorporating PMC’s proprietary waveguide technology. This arrangement provides an open, spacious presentation, with natural vocals and extended high frequencies that convey the acoustic character and dimensions of the original recording.

Low frequencies are handled by 2 custom long-throw bass drivers, working with PMC’s Advanced Transmission Line and LaminairX aerodynamic airflow technology. The design delivers deep, extended bass with speed, control and low-level detail, alongside the impact required for demanding musical and film material.

PMC Prophecy9 can be partnered with modest amplification, while its performance has the headroom to develop with a more ambitious system. Full-face grilles are secured by concealed magnets, giving the speaker a clean, contemporary appearance. As the largest model in the Prophecy range, it is designed to integrate into a room without dominating it.
