The PMC Prophecy5 is a compact standmount speaker built around a custom 5.5-inch Prophecy bass driver, an extended Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) cabinet and LaminairX airflow technology. The integration of these elements provides extended bass from a cabinet no larger than that of a typical bookshelf speaker on a stand.
A custom-designed tweeter with controlled dispersion helps the Prophecy5 fill the room while maintaining precise stereo imaging. Its design also allows it to make effective use of budget-friendly source electronics, with high-quality amplification bringing out its full capability.
The cabinet has a refined appearance and is supplied with magnetically attached, full-face grilles covered in textured fabric. This gives the speaker a discreet finish while retaining access to the driver and cabinet design.
