The PMC prodigy1 is a compact loudspeaker developed from the company’s experience in nearfield monitoring, a technology used by recording and broadcast facilities around the world. Its small footprint allows flexible placement on a stand or furniture, while its ability to resolve detail brings out the character and emotion of the original performance.

A full-size Advanced Transmission Line is fitted within the compact cabinet and supported by PMC’s Laminair technology. Together, these features produce bass that is deep, fast and powerful, giving the prodigy1 a greater sense of scale than its dimensions suggest.

The smooth, open high frequencies and natural midrange present clear vocals and convincing instrumental textures. A wide, precisely focused soundstage keeps the presentation cohesive, while the speaker’s nimble and expressive character makes music feel immediate across a range of recordings.

Finished in silk black, the PMC prodigy1 is suited to a wide range of interiors. Optional sculpted grilles provide a more discreet appearance. Its flexible design allows it to work with modest amplification as well as high-end, high-power systems.
