The Monitor Audio Platinum C250 3G is a centre channel loudspeaker for home theatre and music systems. It is designed to work with Platinum Series loudspeakers, handling dialogue, vocals and central sound effects in a surround system. The sealed cabinet supports controlled bass response and allows the speaker to be positioned in a range of room environments, including dedicated cinema rooms and living spaces.
Its high-frequency section uses Monitor Audio’s MPD III transducer, while a 2.5-inch RDT III mid-range driver handles vocals and other midrange information. Twin 6-inch RDT III bass drivers complete the three-way design, providing controlled low-frequency output for dialogue, soundtracks and cinematic effects. The result is a centre speaker with clear high frequencies, natural midrange reproduction and depth across the lower registers.
The Platinum C250 3G is finished with etched inlays and is available in gloss or wood veneer finishes. Its design is suited to both contemporary and traditional interiors, while its sealed enclosure gives it greater flexibility when placed within a home theatre or music system.
