The Monitor Audio Platinum 300 3G is a flagship three-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the Platinum Series 3G. Its driver array combines an MPD III high-frequency transducer, a dedicated 4-inch RDT III mid-range driver and 2 8-inch RDT III bass drivers. This arrangement is designed to deliver extended high frequencies, natural mid-range reproduction and controlled low-frequency performance, with a presentation based on scale, depth and musical realism.
The Platinum 300 3G uses a rear-ported cabinet to support airflow and bass response. Its three-dimensional soundstage makes it suitable for high-end stereo systems and for use as the front stage of a home cinema system. Etched decorative inlays add detail to the cabinet design, which is available in Piano Black, Piano Ebony and Pure Satin White finishes for modern and traditional interiors.
