PH-10
The Gold Note PH-10 supports 2 tonearms and 6 selectable EQ curves, allowing independent cartridge settings through its analogue phono stage. Four gain levels and 9 load options accommodate MM and MC cartridges, while the 2.8" colour display and single-knob control provide direct access to its functions.
The Gold Note PH-10 phono stage is a fully analogue phono preamplifier with 2 separate RCA inputs, adjustable gain and loading, and 6 EQ curves for vinyl playback. Its circuit uses coils, capacitors and resistors selected for audio applications.
Each input can be configured independently, allowing 2 tonearms and their cartridges to remain connected. There are 4 selectable gain levels, -3dB, 0dB, +3dB and +6dB, for matching the output level of MM and MC cartridges. Cartridge loading is adjustable through 9 options, 10Ω, 22Ω, 47Ω, 100Ω, 220Ω, 470Ω, 1000Ω, 22KΩ and 47KΩ.
6 EQ curves for vinyl playback
The internationally recognised RIAA curve, DECCA-LONDON curve and AMERICAN-CBS-COLUMBIA curve can be selected from the front panel, where each is shown graphically. Gold Note’s proprietary design provides an enhanced version of each curve, giving 6 EQ options in total.
Single-knob control and colour display
Gold Note PH-10 uses the SKC, or Single Knob Control, system to access its functions through 1 control knob. A 2,8” colour display shows the selected settings and EQ curve. The display and control functions are managed by a micro-controller using custom firmware stored on dedicated micro SD flash memory. The micro-controller remains separate from the audio signal path, and the firmware can be updated via PC.
The unit can also be powered externally by the dedicated inductive Dual-Mono PSU.
Handcrafted in Italy
PH-10 is designed, crafted and assembled in Italy. Production includes CNC machining, assembly and electronic testing at the PC, with each unit made from audio grade components.
The solid machined aluminium body is designed to control low-frequency resonance, feedback vibration and magnetic inertial fields.

PSU-10: The dedicated power supply for the PH-10 uses Gold Note’s Dual Choke design to filter signal voltages and reduce interference and electrical noise from the AC power system.
