The Plinius P10 is a power amplifier with separate power supply regulation for its input and driver stages. Its large toroidal transformer enables output levels in excess of 200 watts per channel into 8 Ohms, while the amplifier is designed to drive difficult speaker loads with control and finesse.
The P10 is suited to multiple custom installation applications and includes a Home Theatre trigger bypass. It is also designed to partner with the Plinius Kaitaki preamplifier as part of a matching system.
Remote Trigger Input
Connected to a preamplifier trigger output, the amplifier switches out of Standby and becomes ready for use when the preamplifier is taken out of standby.
Ground Lift Switch
The signal ground can be isolated from the main chassis earth. This can help resolve unwanted ground loops or hum caused by duplicate ground paths in some systems.
WBT and Neutrik Connectors
The Plinius P10 uses WBT RCA and Neutrik XLR input connectors, together with WBT output speaker terminals, to provide a low-distortion interface between the amplifier and connected cables.
Auric Wiring
Audience AV supply the Auric OFC wire used in the input stage. It was selected for its high workability and natural sound.
AudioQuest Wiring
AudioQuest X2 is used in the output stage as the link to the speaker connectors.
