Orea Bordeaux

The IsoAcoustics Orea Bordeaux is an isolation platform for high-end audio components, designed to reduce parasitic vibrations and improve sound clarity and focus. Its low-profile, machined stainless steel construction minimises any increase in component height. The Bordeaux is intended for heavier equipment, including monoblock amplifiers, speakers, power conditioners and turntables.

Each Orea Bordeaux supports up to 32lbs (14.5kg) and has a coloured ring on the lower isolator to identify the model and weight capacity. The units are packaged individually, allowing the number used beneath each component to be selected according to its weight. A minimum of 3 units is recommended under each component.

The upper flange creates a suction cup-like connection with the underside of the component, while the lower flange connects with the supporting surface. Energy is managed within the Orea core, which is tuned for specific weight ranges. This arrangement is designed to provide greater sound clarity, a more open soundstage and three-dimensional sound.

The existing feet on an audio component may connect well and fit around the perimeter of the Indigo. Alternatively, the feet can be removed, or the Indigo can be placed around them so that the isolator connects directly to the component's chassis or base.
