The Naim NSC222 is a versatile streaming preamplifier for the New Classic range, with access to Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz and a very large number of online radio stations. It handles bitrates of up to 32bit/284kHz.
For vinyl playback, the NSC 222 includes a moving-magnet phono input. Headphone listening is supported by Naim amplifier-DAC technology inherited from the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, which has received several awards around the world.
The NSC222 uses Naim’s latest streaming platform, developed by Naim’s engineers in Salisbury. It provides access to Spotify Connect, Apple Music, TIDAL, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, UPnP™ servers, a USB key and Roon Ready functionality, alongside online radio stations and other music services.
Naim’s engineers developed simple, carefully arranged circuits under the guidance of the company’s Technical Director. The design combines these circuits with Naim’s DR technology to provide a stable, fluid power supply. The NSC 222 uses high-quality components and is subject to precise measurements during development.
