Precision Time-Keeping, Without Complication

MC10 is Aurender’s master clock solution, retaining the principal performance benefits of MC20 at a more accessible price point. It removes the dual OCXO word clock modules and associated interface technology, which are effective with only a limited number of DACs, including dCS models. The rubidium-module-based 10MHz master clock generator, power supply structure and vibration mitigation are retained, providing 100% of MC20’s applicable performance benefits in the vast majority of product-pairing scenarios.

MC10 provides 4 x 10 MHz master clock outputs, comprising 2 x 75Ω and 2 x 50Ω. This output configuration is suitable for selected DACs, word clocks and Aurender models with a clock input, including N20, N30SA, W20/SE and AP20. Connecting an output from MC10 to an Aurender can improve the performance of its already ultra-low-jitter digital audio output. The soundstage becomes more focused, with a clearer and more distinct piano image rather than separate notes appearing to originate from individual speaker drivers.

Rubidium 10 MHz Clock Module

The rubidium clock module used in MC10 provides a high level of stability and accuracy, with low phase noise and jitter. This supports clarity and a three-dimensional sound field with width, depth and height. Reducing jitter and phase noise removes digital glare and gives digital audio a warmer, more natural character.

Connectivity & Compatibility

MC10 is compatible with any Aurender digital source component with a CLOCK INPUT. Compatible models include N20, W20, W20SE, N30SA and AP20. For the greatest benefit, connect MC10 to an Aurender source and a DAC with a 10MHz clock input. Even without a clock input on the DAC, synchronising an Aurender transport with MC10 improves timbral and spatial accuracy.
