MA2375 Valve Integrated Amplifier
The McIntosh MA2375 centres on a fully analogue vacuum tube preamplifier and power amplifier, with 4 KT88 output tubes delivering 75 Watts per channel through Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers. Its valve signal path reveals emotion, texture and detail in recordings, while the 5-band equaliser allows tonal adjustment for room acoustics and programme material.

The McIntosh MA2375 is a fully analogue integrated valve amplifier, combining a vacuum tube preamplifier and vacuum tube power amplifier in a single chassis. Its polished stainless-steel chassis, illuminated vacuum tubes and blue watt meters reflect McIntosh's established design approach.
The power amplifier uses 4 KT88 output tubes and 4 12AT7 driver tubes to produce 75 Watts per channel with low distortion. The preamplifier stage uses 2 12AX7A and 2 12AT7 tubes, maintaining a valve signal path from source to speaker. McIntosh Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers provide loudspeaker compatibility, together with the tonality, musicality and control associated with the brand.
A built-in 5-band analogue equaliser allows adjustment for recordings and room acoustics. For headphone listening, the High Drive headphone amplifier incorporates the Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®), which provides a more natural and spacious soundstage.
Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor® (SGS) technology monitors the operating conditions of the KT88 output tubes. When required, it adjusts the input signal to prevent excessive current and maintain performance. If conditions exceed safe limits, Power Guard SGS® reduces the signal level to protect the output stage. McIntosh Sentry Monitor™ fuse-less short-circuit protection also protects the MA2375 and its output stage.
Analogue connectivity includes 2 balanced and 3 unbalanced inputs for sources such as streamers with analogue outputs, CD players, tuners and external DACs. The configurable phono stage supports Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges, with adjustable gain, capacitance, resistance loading and RIAA equalisation for different cartridge requirements.
A dedicated subwoofer output connects to a powered subwoofer, while an additional preamplifier output allows connection of an external power amplifier. Gold-plated McIntosh Solid Cinchâ„¢ speaker terminals provide a secure connection for loudspeaker cables.
The MA2375 supports dedicated hi-fi systems and mixed-use entertainment systems. Power Control allows connected McIntosh components to switch on and off together, and Home Theatre PassThru supports integration with a surround sound system. Data Ports provide control of connected source components, while an RS232 connection supports third-party automation systems. A supplied remote control provides day-to-day operation.
With its vacuum tube preamplifier and power amplifier stages, analogue equalisation, configurable phono input and broad system connectivity, the McIntosh MA2375 is designed for analogue music playback across a range of source and listening systems.
