DESIGNED FOR THE TRUE MUSIC LOVER
Created for listeners who appreciate the distinctive character of valve amplification, the MA2375 combines McIntosh craftsmanship with established engineering. Its design is intended to reveal the emotion, texture and detail in recordings. From the polished stainless-steel chassis to the glow of its vacuum tubes, the MA2375 reflects McIntosh's approach to performance, quality and enduring design.
AUTHENTIC VACUUM TUBE PERFORMANCE
The MA2375 uses a fully analogue design, combining a dedicated vacuum tube preamplifier and vacuum tube power amplifier within a single chassis. The power amplifier section uses four KT88 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes to produce 75 Watts per channel, with low distortion.
McIntosh's Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers provide loudspeaker compatibility and the tonality, musicality and control associated with the brand. The preamplifier stage uses two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 tubes, creating a valve signal path from source to speaker.
TIMELESS DESIGN, MODERN CAPABILITY
The MA2375 combines McIntosh styling with contemporary functionality. Blue watt meters, illuminated vacuum tubes and a finished stainless-steel chassis give it a distinctive appearance. A built-in 5-band analogue equaliser allows tonal adjustment for recordings and room acoustics, while the High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®) provides a more natural and spacious soundstage for headphone listening.
ADVANCED PROTECTION FOR LONG-TERM RELIABILITY
McIntosh's Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor® (SGS) technology monitors the operating conditions of the KT88 output tubes. When necessary, it adjusts the input signal to prevent excessive current and maintain performance.
If operating conditions exceed safe limits, Power Guard SGS® reduces the signal level to protect the output stage. Alongside McIntosh's Sentry Monitor™ fuse-less short-circuit protection system, this provides protection for the MA2375 and its output stage.
COMPREHENSIVE ANALOGUE CONNECTIVITY
The MA2375 provides connection options for a range of analogue sources. Two balanced and three unbalanced inputs accommodate streamers with analogue outputs, CD players, tuners and external DACs.
The configurable phono stage supports both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges. Adjustable gain, capacitance, resistance loading and RIAA equalisation allow the input to be configured for different cartridges.
A dedicated subwoofer output allows connection of a powered subwoofer. McIntosh's gold-plated Solid Cinchâ„¢ speaker terminals provide a secure connection for loudspeaker cables, while an additional preamplifier output allows connection of an external power amplifier.
SEAMLESS SYSTEM INTEGRATION
The MA2375 is designed for use in dedicated hi-fi systems and mixed-use entertainment systems, with features for system integration.
Power Control allows connected McIntosh components to switch on and off together. Home Theatre PassThru supports integration into a surround sound system, while Data Ports provide control of connected source components. An RS232 connection supports third-party automation systems, and the supplied remote control provides day-to-day operation.
EXPERIENCE MUSIC AT ITS MOST ENGAGING
The MA2375 combines valve amplification with McIntosh engineering. Its fully analogue design, vacuum tube stages and range of connections support an engaging approach to music playback, whether revisiting familiar recordings or listening to new music.
