M19
The Bricasti M19 gives straightforward disc playback with a clear, clean presentation, preserving the integrity of original mastered media without upsampling or unnecessary digital processing. Its milled aluminium chassis contains 2 independent linear power supplies with medical-grade toroidal transformers, separating the drive transport, motor and loader from the digital circuits and audio path for stable current delivery and consistent motor speeds.

The M19 is designed around simplicity, with no upsampling, DAC, digital inputs or USB connection. This avoids unnecessary processing and keeps operation straightforward, allowing a disc to be inserted and played while preserving the integrity of the original mastered media. The result is a clear and clean presentation.
Power is central to the M19 design. It uses 2 independent linear power supplies with medical-grade toroidal transformers. One supplies the drive transport, motor and loader, while the other serves the digital circuits and audio path. Keeping these sections autonomous provides stable, high-current power for the motor and mechanical components, supporting accurate and consistent motor speeds while reducing potential cross-feed contamination, jitter and power supply ripple.
The M19 is built as a single assembly in a milled aluminium chassis, with the power supplies positioned close to the drive and digital output sections. This reduces the possibility of RF contamination and provides isolated current delivery to the drive motor. It also removes unnecessary cables and connectors. As the drive uses low-current, low-voltage DC power, this arrangement provides direct current delivery to the relevant sections of the device.
The M19 also provides a proprietary I2S digital output for use with Bricasti DACs. Bricasti uses the I2S interface inside its products to transfer data between circuit boards. Used between the M19 and a Bricasti DAC, it creates a direct connection between the 2 devices, allowing the DAC to operate as an integrated part of the M19 system. This can improve clarity across the sound spectrum. The I2S input is available as an option for new Bricasti DACs and as an upgrade for previous customers.
