Lumina III

The Sonus Faber Lumina III is an Italian-made floorstanding loudspeaker designed for stereo systems and multichannel home theatre. It combines Sonus Faber’s use of real multilayer wood, leather and naturally composed drivers with a minimal, squared enclosure design that places the materials at the centre of its appearance.

The Lumina collection follows the principle of “less is more”, with simplicity extending to installation and system integration. The range brings Sonus Faber’s established materials and craftsmanship to a more accessible price point, while retaining the company’s approach to music reproduction.

Within a traditional stereo system, Lumina III is intended to provide powerful, distortion-free sound and high speech intelligibility for games and films. It forms part of a 3-model combination with Lumina I and Lumina Centre I. Lumina I can be used as a stereo pair or as a surround speaker in a cinema system, while Lumina Centre I matches the other models in appearance and acoustic character.

The range can be extended with the Gravis I and Gravis II subwoofers for deeper low-frequency effects, including LFE, and a fuller home entertainment system. Used with Gravis subwoofers in a 5.1-channel configuration, Lumina and Gravis provide enveloping effects for films and an immersive atmosphere for music concerts, with sound extending beyond the screen and around the listening area.
