L2

The LUMIN L2 is a UPnP Openhome music server for storing and serving a personal music collection to LUMIN owners. It is available without drives, or with 4TB or 8TB capacity, and requires no configuration.

Music can be added through USB or over the network, after which LUMIN L2 serves it automatically. The USB 3.0 Micro type B connection is intended for linking the server to a computer, while SMB support allows music to be transferred across the network.

LUMIN server software

The LUMIN server software is designed for the requirements of LUMIN owners, with stable operation, extensive tag support and support for high-resolution PCM and DSD.

4-port audiophile-grade network switch

The integrated 4-port network switch provides 2 SFP ports for optical fibre connections and 2 RJ45 copper ports. It can simplify system wiring and reduce the need for additional switches around a hi-fi system. Optical fibre networking provides electrical isolation between the hi-fi system and the rest of the network.

Build quality

LUMIN L2 uses a silent, vibration-free design with the same thick, shielded CNC aluminium chassis construction as the P1 music player. It is available in black and silver finishes. The shielded, low-noise power supply, thick and rigid CNC aluminium chassis and spacious internal layout are designed to provide untouched data to the network player.
