Jumperflux

The Furutech Jumperflux is a speaker jumper cable designed to link loudspeakers and amplifiers with low resistive loss. It uses Alpha OCC Pure Transmission conductors and is supplied as standard with CF-201R rhodium-plated pure copper spades for the amplifier end and CF-202R rhodium-plated banana connectors for the speaker end. Other connector combinations are available on request.

Speaker cables carry high current, so low resistance is required to avoid turning signal energy into heat. A large cable diameter, or a bundle of smaller conductors providing an equivalent effective diameter, also helps maintain a high amplifier damping factor and reduces uncontrolled driver movement. The link between the amplifier and loudspeaker is therefore a significant part of the system.

Jumperflux uses substantially built, nonresonant connector bodies finished in layered carbon fibre and stainless steel. The high-grade PE dielectric reduces capacitance and improves mechanical damping. Furutech states that this construction provides greater resolution, clarity and powerful dynamics, together with an ultra-quiet soundstage where music develops more fully without artificial upper-frequency “presence region” glare.

The cable’s presentation results from the engineering and the selection of suitable materials through careful audition. Furutech Jumperflux is intended to provide a balanced combination of these qualities while allowing the listener to feel, experience and communicate with music.
