IS-1000 Mk2 Deluxe

The Gold Note IS-1000 Mk2 Deluxe is an all-in-one integrated amplifier, phono stage, DAC and music streamer for digital and analogue playback. It combines these functions within an aluminium chassis shaped in an Italian style, providing a complete stereo system in a single unit.

Developed from more than 20 years of research and development, the IS-1000 Mk2 Deluxe uses technologies and components derived from Gold Note’s P-1000 preamplifier and PA-1175 power amplifier. The design combines the analogue stages of an integrated amplifier with the digital functions of a streamer and DAC.

Its Class A/B amplifier delivers 125/250W at 8/4Ω per channel. Digital and analogue inputs allow additional equipment to be connected and leave scope for future system expansion. A turntable can be connected directly to the integrated phono preamplifier, which supports MM and MC cartridges, while the unit can also be used with speakers alone.

The digital section is Roon Ready and compatible with multi-room systems. It supports Tidal and MQA via Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and Spotify Connect, as well as Deezer through Roon and the app for iOS and Android. Music stored locally on a NAS or USB stick can also be played. USB and LAN support DSD 64 natively and via DoP, while PCM is supported up to 24/192. The DAC converter PCB can be exchanged as an option.

Installation requires a connection to mains power, a network connection by Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and speakers. The 2 analogue outputs comprise 1 variable RCA and 1 fixed RCA, allowing connection to active speakers or power amplifiers.
