IS-10

The Gold Note IS-10 is a compact all-in-one stereo system combining an integrated amplifier, D/A converter and high-resolution network streamer in one unit. Its amplifier produces 90W into 8Ω and 140W into 4Ω. With a PA-10 EVO power amplifier, the IS-10 can also be configured as a monoblock, delivering 280W into 8Ω.

The D/A converter handles PCM files up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD256. The network streamer supports high-resolution formats including MQA and DSD up to DSD256, with Roon Ready certification and compatibility with Tidal, Tidal Connect, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify and Deezer. Music can be streamed via LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, or played from digital music stored on a NAS or USB flash drive.

Multi-room systems are supported, with plug-and-play installation. The IS-10 also provides access to Roon, AirPlay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner and Deezer. The free GN Control App is available for iOS and Android, allowing operation from a smartphone or tablet. Tidal Connect provides direct control from the Tidal app on iOS and Android, while network connection gives access to high-resolution music from compatible services and local sources.

Operation is available through the remote control, the SKC or the GN Control App. The display menu provides access to adjustments without interrupting playback. Roon Ready certification brings Roon streaming technology, the Roon user interface, straightforward setup, reliable daily operation and high audio performance.

An audiophile headphone preamplifier is included, with a professional 6.3mm headphone output and High and Low sensitivity levels. It uses proprietary technology developed for headphone use and is suitable for different types of headphones.

When paired with a PA-10 EVO, the IS-10 can operate as a mono amplifier using the “Mono R” output, the “M” button on the rear panel and the “MONO” setting in the display menu.
