Guarneri G5

The Sonus Faber Guarneri G5 is a 2-way loudspeaker from the fifth generation of the Homage series. It uses a new midwoofer designed to reduce resonance and reproduce acoustic detail, together with revised crossover technology that lowers the noise floor and removes background noise. The result is a 3-dimensional presentation with the timing and layered character associated with a live performance.

The Guarneri G5 continues Sonus faber’s established design approach while introducing the latest Homage technology. Its wood, lute-shaped cabinet combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary design, and is available in Graphite, Wengè and Red finishes.

Livio Cucuzza, Chief Design Officer at Sonus faber, describes the work as an effort to develop a product with a long-established identity without losing the reasons for its original design. He led the process with his team, having previously worked on the third generation of Homage. The fifth generation is described as the most developed and mature version so far, while remaining authentic to the series and to its original purpose.
