Gravis VI

The Sonus faber Gravis VI is an active subwoofer designed for low-frequency reproduction and integration with Sonus faber loudspeaker collections. It belongs to the Gravis Collection, which brings together developing subwoofer technology, natural sound and Italian hand craftsmanship.

Sonus faber began developing subwoofers with the Gravis FB100, launched in 1986. Ten years later, the company introduced Sonus faber Cremona M. The Gravis Collection continues that work, with the Gravis III, V and VI positioned as the most powerful and high-end models in the active systems line.

The Gravis III, V and VI are intended to complement the Sonus faber loudspeaker collections that have defined the brand's history. Each model has a body covered in black leather, with the three versions distinguished by the finish applied to their hand-finished wooden tops.

The Gravis range is designed to work with all Sonus faber full-range loudspeaker collections. Gravis III is suited to the Olympica Nova collection, while Gravis V and Gravis VI complete the Homage Tradition and Reference collections.

Across the range, the wooden top provides a visual link with the corresponding loudspeaker designs. Gravis III is available with Wengé or Walnut matte finishes, which connect with the Olympica Nova collection, alongside a discreet Piano Black finish for integration with different audio systems and room environments.

Gravis VI can be configured and operated through a dedicated app for Android and iOS. The app provides control of the subwoofer and simplifies setup and use.
